Background & brief

Working alongside the Product and Design Director I was engaged with creating a series of highly creative concepts for their customer facing App.

Taking several core themes as the basis of the brief, we worked together on sketching out some initial ideas over a coffee, then during a short three week sprint created initial wireframes and worked these up into high fidelity designs and Figma prototypes which were then presented on to internal stakeholders.

Best in class experience

Although the tide app was already highly rated and fully functional, the brief was to explore how the home screen experience could be elevated. This involved developing innovative concepts that introduced a more engaging interface through a refined UI, thoughtful micro-interactions, and richer visual storytelling, all while incorporating the newly developed brand assets, illustrations, and design system.

Gamification

Drawing on gamification principles, we explored ways to motivate positive financial behaviours by rewarding customers for reaching savings goals, maintaining streaks for consistently hitting targets, and paying bills on time. Concepts also included progress timelines and leaderboards to create a stronger sense of achievement and engagement.
